Job summary

Advocate Health in High Point, North Carolina is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Breast Surgery team. This 1.0 FTE hybrid inpatient/outpatient role offers collaboration with the supervising physician and multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Open to experienced APPs as well as new graduates, the position features a Monday–Friday schedule, RVU incentives, and the opportunity to develop

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (or PA program).
• North Carolina licensure and hospital privileges expected.
• Board certification in NP specialty or PA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care within the Breast Surgery service.
• Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient clinic.
• Participate in inpatient care as appropriate.
• Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop and implement care plans with supervising physician.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies within scope.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Perform procedures within scope and privileges.
