Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible status.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
• Develops and implements a plan of care for these patients, and prescribes medications, exercises and/or other treatments.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams in the management of patient care, maintaining continuity of care with outside agencies.
• Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists; consults on patient care issues.
• Teaches and counsels individuals and groups regarding health care needs; educates in areas of specialization.
• Participates in development of health education programs.
