The Valley Health System holds longstanding accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons and has a strong regional reputation for excellence in multidisciplinary cancer care.
The Valley Breast Center, directed by a Board Certified, fellowship-trained breast surgeon, offers advanced imaging, oncoplastic breast surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, breast-focused medical oncology, radiation oncology, clinical genetics, a high‑risk program, survivorship services, and access to innovative clinical research. The Breast Surgery practice includes a nurse navigator and a team of physician assistants.
Provide consultation and surgical care for patients with suspected or proven breast disease. Participate in weekly multidisciplinary case conferences and all breast‑cancer program initiatives. Serve as a faculty member in Valley’s General Surgery Residency Program, offering opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and academic engagement. For appropriate candidates, academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at MountSinai is available.
MD or DO, board‑eligible or board‑certified in General Surgery. Fellowship training in Breast Surgery. Existing or eligible for New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS required.
Salary range: $450,000 to $500,000. Competitive compensation models include generous wRVU productivity incentive with the opportunity to grow, uncapped.
