Job summary

OU Health seeks a Breast Sonographer for PRN coverage to perform specialized breast imaging across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will prepare patients, review history, and operate advanced ultrasound equipment to support providers in diagnosis and treatment planning.

The role requires at least 1 year of breast imaging experience, ARDMS or ARRT certification, and BLS. You will contribute to teaching, quality assurance, and cross‑location collaboration within the BHN-Northwest team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited sonography or imaging/radiology program per ARDMS or ARRT certification.
• Minimum 1 year of breast imaging experience required.
• BLS certification and ARDMS/ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized breast imaging and diagnostic imaging per provider orders.
• Prepare patients and review clinical history to align with tests.
• Maintain safety, quality standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Mentor new team members and participate in teaching activities.
• Transfer images to the EHR and prepare studies for physician reporting.
