Job summary

OU Health's Mammography team seeks a skilled Mammographer to provide specialized breast imaging across outpatient settings. The PRN role supports Providers in diagnosis, care, and surveillance of breast conditions, delivering high-quality imaging and accurate data transfer.

With 1+ year of experience and ARRT(R)(M) certification, you will prepare patients, perform exams, review histories, and collaborate with the BHN-Southwest team to maintain safety, standards, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARRT.
• Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Mammographer required.
• ARRT(RT)(M) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by a care provider.
• Ensures testing is performed safely and with high quality standards, focusing on patient-centric care.
• Prepares patients for procedures and reviews clinical history to align with provider-ordered tests.
• Transfers images and data to the appropriate electronic health system and prepares studies for physician reporting.
• Performs quality control checks and maintains equipment per guidelines.
• May teach students or serve as a department preceptor and assist with onboarding.
• Supports inventory tasks as needed to ensure supplies are available.
