Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is seeking an Oncology Territory Manager for the Breast brand in Houston South. You will promote approved indications, build relationships with physicians, and develop business plans to meet sales objectives.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in pharmaceutical sales and oncology, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 60%. You will represent the product with in-depth disease-state knowledge and maintain regional reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4 or more years of sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry required.
• 4 or more years of oncology therapeutic experience strongly preferred.
• 1 or more years additional therapeutic experience in diverse roles – training, marketing, market access preferred.
• Oncology product launch experience preferred.
• Copromotion experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Represents the assigned products to health care professionals in the territory.
• Achieves or exceeds sales objectives through promotion of the product features and benefits to customers.
• Develops and executes comprehensive business plans.
• Applies knowledge of healthcare industry, laws and regulations, market conditions, and payer landscape.
• Demonstrates understanding of clinical pathways and their influence on patient treatment.
• Analyzes customer needs, territory performance, program outcomes, and market trends to optimize sales.
• Maintains expert understanding of disease state and brand; serves as product expert.
• Completes all assigned training.
• Communicates regularly with District Manager and peers.
• Builds relationships with key opinion leaders and communicates approved indications.
• Meets administrative expectations including budgets, reporting.
• Maintains target lists and plans calls to meet goals.
• Reviews territorial reports with District Manager and uses reports to reach goals.
• Submits completed reports on time and communicates market matters to leadership.
• Maintains equipment and territorial records.
• Uses sales force automation to enhance calls and territory management.
• Adheres to compliance and operating principles.
