Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a Breast Ultrasound Tech to support imaging services on the Teaneck campus. The role focuses on breast examinations, axillary imaging, and image-guided procedures, with an emphasis on patient safety and accurate data recording.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree and ARDMS certification, plus 1–3 years in Women’s Imaging and BLS. The position is full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 1-3 years minimum two years of experience in Women’s Imaging.
• ARDMS certification required upon hire.
• BLS-American Heart Association required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound techniques and examinations, including breast and axillary imaging and breast interventional procedures.
• Positions and transfers patients per safety policy.
• Selects proper technical factors for each patient study.
• Assists physician in documenting findings and communicating results.
• Interacts with patients to obtain complete clinical history and relevant data.
• Maintains examination records and equipment inventories.
• Archives images to PACS and associated databases.
• Assists in staffing and scheduling to meet workload demands.
• Performs QA/QC testing as required by regulators.
