Job summary

Montclair Breast Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to operate ultrasound equipment for breast imaging, prepare exams, capture images, and document findings for radiologists.

Positions available per diem, part-time, or full-time with on-site work in Glen Rock, NJ. Candidates must hold an appropriate State license and ARRT/RDMS credentials, plus ongoing CE requirements specific to breast ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Current State License.
• ARRT RDMS credential.
• Specialized training in breast ultrasound.
• Continuing education— average of 5 ECEs/year focused on breast ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Identify and observe areas of concern using sonographic equipment.
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and breast biopsies.
• Notify medical staff of abnormalities requiring immediate attention.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any machinery failure.
• Conduct scan tests and document results.
• Manage multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
