Job summary

New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist – Breast to join our Brooklyn team. Location: 9201 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY. This role supports breast imaging through screening, diagnostic exams, and procedures, under radiologist and cardiologist coordination.

You will perform exams, prepare preliminary impressions, maintain equipment, follow radiology protocols, and assist with biopsies. RDMS Breast is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent).
• RDMS Breast is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures).
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists.
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation.
• Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases.
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Job Description

Ultrasound Technologist Breast

Location: 9201 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY.

Hours/Shifts: 4/10 hour shifts, Mon-Thurs (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Friday.

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures)
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
• Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
