Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting a fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist to join our Department of Radiology. You will practice breast imaging using state-of-the-art equipment across CHA campuses.

The role includes late-shift on-call coverage with teleradiology and an HMS appointment as Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor commensurate with HMS criteria, along with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Practice breast imaging across MRI, CT, ultrasound, and 3D mammography.
  • Provide imaging services at CHA campuses in Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett.
  • Support integrated PACS and Epic EMR; contribute to Abridge AI clinical documentation tool.
  • Participate in a late‑shift on‑call rotation; nightly teleradiology coverage from 8pm weekdays and 6pm weekends/holidays.
  • Teach and mentor trainees consistent with HMS appointment criteria.

Job description

Position

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting a fellowship‑trained breast imaging radiologist to join our well‑established Department of Radiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice breast imaging using state‑of‑the‑art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, digital radiography, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy.
  • Provide imaging services at Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett Hospital campuses.
  • Leverage integrated PACS and Epic EMR; support the Abridge AI clinical documentation tool.
  • Participate in a late‑shift on‑call rotation; nightly coverage via teleradiology starting at 8 pm weekdays and 6 pm weekends/holidays.
  • Hold a Harvard Medical School appointment as Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria and teaching commitment.
Qualifications
  • Fellowship‑trained breast imaging radiologist with ABR certification or eligibility.
  • Strong clinical and procedural skill set; experience with breast imaging modalities.
  • Commitment to academic teaching and mentorship.
Compensation and Benefits

Full‑time base salary range $525,000–$575,000, plus annual incentive. Benefits include comprehensive health and dental insurance, 403(b) retirement with matching, generous PTO, CME funding (time and dollars), and additional professional development opportunities.
