Job description

Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiologist

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is an award‑winning health system based in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston’s metro‑north communities. We provide innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of outpatient clinics and two full‑service hospitals. CHA is recruiting for a diagnostic radiologist with breast imaging training to join our well‑established and thriving Department of Radiology.

Responsibilities
  • Practice breast imaging and diagnostic radiology using CHA’s state‑of‑the‑art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy. CHA breast imaging division provides full‑service breast imaging and procedures, and enjoys a close relationship with the breast center.
  • Imaging services are provided at all three CHA hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital.
  • All sites are fully integrated with PACS, EMR (Epic), and voice recognition software.
  • On‑call assignments are structured as a late‑shift rotation. Night call coverage is provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8 p.m. weeknights and 6 p.m. weekends and holidays.
  • The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
