Job description

Boston University Radiology Associates (Boston Medical Center) – Academic Breast Imaging Radiologist

Boston Medical Center (BMC) Department of Radiology is accepting applications from individuals interested in joining our well‑established section of Breast Imaging. The position is for an Academic Breast Imaging Radiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, including digital breast tomosynthesis.
  • Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI.
  • Perform stereotactic/tomosynthesis, ultrasound and MRI guided biopsies as well as needle and seed localizations.
  • Perform contrast mammography and cryoablation as desired.
  • Maintain informatics and research activities.
Qualifications
  • ABR-eligible or ABR-certified.
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required.
  • Experience with breast imaging modalities and procedures listed above.
  • Comfortable with performing biopsies and localizations.
  • Strong informatics and research background valued.
  • Committed to providing exceptional clinical care and education.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. The hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Educational & Research Opportunities

The Breast Imaging section is active in resident education, accepting 10 residents per year, and provides significant opportunities for teaching. The section also accepts one Breast Fellowship per year.
