Job description

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is an award-winning health system based in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro‑north communities. We provide innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of outpatient clinics and two full‑service hospitals. CHA is recruiting for a fellowship‑trained breast imaging radiologist to join our well‑established and thriving Department of Radiology.

  • Practice breast imaging using CHA's state‑of‑the‑art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy. CHA breast imaging division provides full‑service breast imaging and procedures, and enjoys a close relationship with our breast center.
  • Imaging services are provided at all three CHA hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital.
  • All sites are fully integrated with PACS, EMR (Epic), and CHA is partnered with Abridge, a leader in generative AI for clinical documentation. This use of AI helps to remove barriers of care including clinician administrative burden.
  • On‑call assignments are structured as a late shift rotation. Night call coverage is provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8 pm weeknights and 6 pm weekends and holidays.
  • The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.

Qualified candidates will be fellowship trained and ABR certified/eligible.

CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 403b retirement accounts with matching, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), and a generous CME allotment (both time and dollars). The full‑time total compensation salary range of $525,000–$575,000 is comprised of a guaranteed base salary based on years of experience plus an annual incentive.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and pregnancy‑related conditions or any other characteristic protected by law.
