Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a skilled clinical assistant to support physicians and staff with patient care coordination across our multi-site network. You will help maintain efficient patient flow, document in EHR, and assist with orders, referrals, and procedures.

The role requires an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), NJ nursing license, and BLS certification, with the ability to commute to satellite offices as needed. Proficiency with EHR and PMS is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills.
• Experience with EHR and practice management systems is preferred.
• Flexibility with various work schedules and diverse duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician and staff with daily patient care coordination and access.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and accurate documentation in EHR.
• Administer injections and collect lab specimens per protocol.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals in PMS and EHR.
• Ensure patient identification and safety during visits.
