VillageMD in New Jersey is seeking a clinical assistant to support physicians and care teams. You will coordinate daily patient care, gather vitals, document in the EHR, and assist with injections and scheduling while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires an associates degree and NJ nursing license with BLS certification. Prior clinic experience is valued, and state licensure compliance is essential for patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• New Jersey Nursing License and BLS certification required.
• 0–1 years experience; 2–4 years experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Assist the physician and staff with daily coordination of patient care and access.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and accurate EHR documentation.
• Obtain vital signs and document in the EHR.
• Administer injections and adhere to safety protocols.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals through PMS and EHR.
• Facilitate transition of care to UCC or hospital.
