Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hours of operation and proper table set-ups for the dining area.
• Check quality and amount of breakfast stock and supplies using a checklist.
• Requisition necessary supplies according to standard.
• Transport supplies and equipment to the dining area.
• Prepare and set up all condiments and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Stock designated silverware, glassware, chinaware, utensils, tools, and other equipment.
• Inspect cleanliness and condition of tables and service areas; rectify deficiencies.
• Set tables and set up service lines.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and report maintenance problems.
• Receive food from Kitchen and hold at specified temperatures.
• Defrost food, clean, and prepare produce as assigned.
• Maintain supply levels of stock, food, and beverages to designated amounts.
• Monitor and maintain the quality and cleanliness on service lines.
• Anticipate usage levels and report replenishment needs to the Kitchen.
• Obtain replacements for 86'd items as directed by the Kitchen.
• Greet and serve meals to hotel employees.
• Remove soiled trays and wares, wipe tables, replenish condiments.
• Clean spills immediately; breakdown all goods; store unused food.
• Clean and sanitize service lines and equipment; restock stations for next period.
• Complete closing side duties and organize storage closets.
• Report equipment damages, safety hazards, and other issues to the Manager.
• Legibly document pertinent information in the logbook.
• Sweep and mop the floor.
