Job summary

You will help prepare and present food and beverages, keep dining areas clean, and collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, is certified in food safety, and can read labels and instructions.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification/Training preferred
• Ability to read and understand packaging labels and preparation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, personalized service to all guests.
• Maintains par levels for food, beverages and service supplies; takes inventory and reorders.
• Receives merchandise, labels, stores, and follows FIFO inventory system.
• Adheres to company, brand, and local health department requirements.
• Prepares and arranges food and beverage items in an attractive presentation; replenishes buffet as needed.
• Maintains temperature control for safe food.
• Sets up dishes, trays, napkins, utensils, and service ware.
• Maintains cleanliness of dining and service areas; clears tables and removes trash.
• Breaks down buffet and stores reusable items properly.
• Cleans serving equipment and daily equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Reports safety and cleanliness issues to proper department.
• Supports team by assisting others as needed.
• Identifies opportunities to WOW guests and uphold the Baywood motto.
