Job summary

Baywood Ambassador role requiring exceptional guest service and food safety awareness. You will manage buffet setups, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with health standards while delivering a welcoming experience for guests.

The position emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and proactive assistance to colleagues, with a strong focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification/Training preferred.
• Experience: Previous food service experience preferred; however, ability gained through 1+ years related employment (customer service) or on-the-job training may substitute for food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly personalized service to all guests.
• Maintains inventory and par levels for food, beverages and service supplies; orders supplies as needed.
• Receives merchandise, labels and stores it; follows FIFO to prevent waste.
• Adheres to company, brand, and local health department requirements.
• Prepares and presents attractive food and beverage items; monitors buffet and replenishes as needed.
• Maintains temperature control for safety of hot/cold foods.
• Sets up dishes, trays, napkins, utensils, and serving ware.
• Keeps dining and service areas clean and organized; clears tables and disposes of trash.
• Breaks down buffet and stores reusable items; cleans equipment daily.
• Cleans dispensers and equipment; performs routine cleaning per guidelines.
• Cleans service and dining area; vacuums, mops and wipes surfaces.
• Additional duties may be added at management's discretion.
• Maintains professional image and customer-friendly demeanor as a Baywood Ambassador.
