Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Restaurant Server in Alpharetta to provide an exceptional dining experience. You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction.

You’ll upsell menu items, maintain clean tables, handle payments, and work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. A high school diploma or related experience is required, with alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or related experience is required.
• Alcohol awareness certification and familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
• Ability to deliver friendly guest service.
• Understanding of proper ordering, food handling techniques, and state/local serving guidelines.
• Experience processing guest checks and handling payments per cash handling and accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, escort to tables, provide menus and accommodate requests.
• Take orders, note special instructions or dietary restrictions, input into ordering system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensure correct presentation and orders match.
• Develop product knowledge of menu, ingredients, methods, and specials; make recommendations.
• Upsell appetizers, sides, desserts, and beverages to enhance experience.
• Maintain tables with clean setup, reset quickly for new guests.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, attentive manner; resolve concerns.
• Present bills and process payments accurately; handle credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, bussers, and servers to ensure smooth flow.
• Ensure sanitation and hygiene; follow safety procedures.
• Assist with special events, parties, and catering as required.
