Job summary

Shamin Hotels in Suffolk, VA is seeking an Entry level Breakfast Attendant at HOT145 - Hampton Inn Suffolk. You will assemble and maintain the breakfast buffet and ensure items are well stocked to meet guest needs.

This hourly role offers paid bi-weekly wages, a team-oriented environment, and opportunities to grow within our Food and Beverage department. Previous hospitality experience is helpful, and reliability with early hours is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Providing personalized service to all guests
• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
• Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentration
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
• Preparing and setting up hot food items
• Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next day
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storage
• Other and all duties, projects, and tasks assigned by management
