Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality in Savannah, GA seeks a Breakfast Attendant to prepare and serve meals in the employee cafeteria, keeping work areas clean and food safety standards high. You will assist with opening duties, portion control and station setup, ensuring timely, quality service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; culinary certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as a cook or cafeteria cook in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Additional: Flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve food in employee cafeteria for associate meals.
• Coordinate daily menus with Chef.
• Prepare meals with entrees, a vegetable, a starch, and salad bar.
• Manage portion control and avoid spoilage and waste.
• Complete set up and break down of cafeteria.
• Maintain knowledge of department policies and safety standards.
• Ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained daily.
• Follow opening duties and station setup procedures.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Work cohesively with co-workers and other departments.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
