Job summary

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe is seeking an friendly, guest-focused team member to welcome guests, take orders, and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will concise describe specials, manage POS transactions, and assist with service areas during shifts.

The role requires clear communication, good grooming, and the ability to stand for long periods. It offers on-site scheduling and opportunities to support a busy restaurant team.

Qualifications

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 6 hours).
• Able to communicate clearly in the predominant language of guests.
• Exceptional grooming habits required.
• Ability to perform basic math and operate a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as they enter.
• Greet guests at the table and ensure they are comfortable.
• Inform guests of specials and substitutions; make recommendations.
• Take orders and input into POS system promptly.
• Prepare coffee and tea when needed; assist with toast.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Maintain clean service areas; reset tables after guests leave.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Prepare and present the final bill and process payments.
• Assist coworkers as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Be available to fill in as directed by the manager.
