Job summary

Circa 1886 Restaurant, regularly ranked as the top restaurant in Charleston, is seeking a Breakfast Server to join the Wentworth Mansion team. You will provide a sit-down, fine dining breakfast experience for guests of Wentworth Mansion and uphold the property’s world-class hospitality.

Ideal candidates are available 7am–11am for 2–3 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays. Server duties include menu knowledge, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and assisting guests with directions

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience is required.
• Must exhibit a professional, outgoing and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to stand for up to 5 hours per shift.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Shift times are 7am–11am, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fine dining atmosphere to guests during breakfast service.
• Demonstrate knowledge about menu preparations and ingredients.
• Assist guests with directions and local recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining rooms, patio and restrooms.
• Complete closeout duties including cleaning, polishing, re-setting dining room, and paperwork.

Regulary ranked as the top restaurant and hotel in Charleston, Circa 1886 and the Wentworth Mansion are looking for a Breakfast Server to join our outstanding team. The roll of the server is to provide a sit down, fine dining breakfast experience at Circa 1886 to guests of Wentworth Mansion. The ideal candidate will be available from 7am - 11am for 2-3 shifts per week (including weekends and holidays) and will be eager to uphold the Wentworth Mansion's world class reputation for hospitality, service and luxury.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fine dining atmosphere to guests of Wentworth Mansion during breakfast service.
• Demonstrate knowledge about the preparation and ingredients of every selection on the menu.
• Must have a general knowledge of the Charleston area to better assist guests with directions and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant including dining rooms, patio and bathrooms.
• Closeout duties include: cleaning side work, polishing of silver and glassware, closeout paperwork, re-setting dining room, and other duties as directed by manager.
