Job summary

Circa 1886 at Wentworth Mansion in Charleston, SC is seeking a Breakfast Server to provide a sit-down, fine-dining breakfast experience for guests. You will join a renowned team and support Wentworth Mansion's legacy of hospitality, service, and luxury.

Availability is 7am–11am for 2–3 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays. The role emphasizes professional, friendly service, knowledge of the menu, and maintaining a spotless dining area.

Qualifications

• Must have prior serving experience.
• Must demonstrate a professional, outgoing and friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours per shift.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work from 7am-11am including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fine dining atmosphere to guests of Wentworth Mansion during breakfast service.
• Demonstrate knowledge about the preparation and ingredients of every selection on the menu.
• Must have a general knowledge of the Charleston area to better assist guests with directions and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant including dining rooms, patio and bathrooms.
• Closeout duties include: cleaning side work, polishing of silver and glassware, closeout paperwork, re-setting dining room, and other duties as directed by manager.
