Job summary

The Colony Hotel, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a motivated Breakfast Server to join our Maine team. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming start to their day as you present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a smile.

We value an engaging personality, strong communication, and 2–4 years of food service experience. Knowledge of wine and spirits helps, and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced coastal setting at a respected property

Qualifications

• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Descriptive and able to sell menu items effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• 2–4 years of food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for service.
• Greet guests as they arrive and guide them through the menu.
• Accurately take and confirm orders, noting special requests.
• Be the master of the menu, describing dishes to guests.
• Work with servers and kitchen/bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist guests with concerns to resolve issues satisfactorily.
• Present bills timely and accurately to finalize the guest experience.
