Job summary

Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a full-time Breakfast Line Cook/Staff Meal Cook. You will uphold cleanliness, ensure quality and presentation, and report safety concerns to the kitchen leadership.

Maintain ServSafe certification and assist with prep, inventory, and daily staff meals. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years cooking experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years professional cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Reliable, punctual and well-organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Open to feedback and coaching from leadership.
• Capable of performing in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest cleanliness and sanitation per health regulations and policies.
• Own quality, consistency, and presentation of all food prepared and served.
• Report accidents, injuries, or safety concerns to chef or manager on duty.
• Remain calm and professional during emergencies or high-pressure periods.
• Maintain ServSafe certification at all times.
• Complete daily prep lists before and after each shift.
• Assist in preparation, production and setup for dining outlets.
• Follow standardized recipes for quality and portion control.
• Assist with inventory and storage of food and supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
• Keep back-of-house areas clean; perform sanitation tasks.
• Assist with receiving and labeling of deliveries; store properly.
• Perform dishwashing and related cleaning tasks.
• Monitor sanitation and safety; address issues immediately.
• Comply with health codes and company policies.
• Prepare daily Staff Meal by 10:30 a.m. as scheduled.
