Job summary

Masons of California is seeking a Breakfast Line Cook to prepare nutritious meals in accordance with policies and regulations. You will supervise kitchen activities, ensure safety and sanitation, and coordinate with dining leadership to meet residents’ dietary needs and menu standards.

The role requires 1 year of kitchen supervision experience, ability to read/write and communicate fluently, and comfort working in a restaurant-style environment with diverse cuisines.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in kitchen supervision.
• Ability to read, write and communicate fluently.
• Experience in a restaurant setting with diverse cuisines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods in a timely manner per planned menus and policies.
• Supervise serving of meals and ensure proper temperature and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in production area and equipment.
• Handle leftovers, storage, labeling and safe disposal as required.
• Coordinate with Chef/Director of Dining Services on menus and production.
