Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a talented Cook to join the Culinary team at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa. You will contribute to menu development and kitchen operations, working with a dedicated culinary leadership team to deliver high-quality dishes across all service outlets.

The role requires 2-3 years of professional kitchen experience, a current Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain one), and willingness to work varied day/night shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge and skills in cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry).
• Experience with knives and various kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes and maintain consistency in food prep.
• Minimize food waste through cross utilization of ingredients.
• Work with a world-class culinary team on station setup and ingredients.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling).
• Keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment and proper storage of items.
• Ensure quality of ingredients and assist in menu development.
