Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, through Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa, is seeking a passionate cook to join our Culinary team. The role focuses on creative prep, menu support, and delivering high standards of food quality in a luxury setting.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in a professional kitchen, active Food Handler certification, and the ability to work day/night and weekend shifts. You will develop skills, read recipes, and contribute to cross-utilization to minimize waste.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
• Active Food handler's certification or ability to obtain it.
• Willingness to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry).
• Experience with knives and kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes to ensure consistency.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat).
• Keep an orderly, sanitized kitchen environment.
• Support culinary leadership in menu development reflecting seasonal availability.
