Notch Peak Ranch has partnered with iHire to find a qualified candidate for the position of Private Chef. The role is located at a family ranch an hour west of Wheatland, Wyoming, in the Laramie Range Mountains at 7,000 ft elevation. The position is remote, with a start date of May 20th and an end date of October 1st.

Job Overview

The family visits the ranch for approximately 4 days each weekend. The chef will prepare healthy, organic meals for groups ranging from 4 to 20 people. The menu includes a simple continental breakfast, brunch around 10 am, and dinner at 7 pm. Experience as a personal or family chef, as well as skills in grilling and smoking, are preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Meal planning, grocery shopping, preparation, and cleanup
2. Maintaining a clean kitchen environment
3. Starting an outside vegetable garden

Requirements

• Own vehicle capable of handling dirt roads for personal time off; ranch vehicle provided for supply runs
• Ability to kneel, bend, carry, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently
• Neat, clean, and odor-free appearance at work
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks
• Solid working references

Compensation and Benefits

• $4,500 per month
