Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Breakfast Cook for the Market Grille in Spring Lake Park. You will prepare a variety of breakfast foods and desserts, ensure hot and cold station readiness, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

You’ll work as part of a team to deliver prompt, friendly service, greet customers, and assist with menu knowledge while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent. Six months or less of similar or related work experience.
• Able to follow recipes and maintain sanitation standards.
• Customer service oriented with a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Smiles and greets customers and learns names when possible.
• Prepares cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats and breakfast foods.
• Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills as necessary.
• Prepares items for upcoming shifts and ensures kitchen cleanliness.
