Job summary

Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is seeking a Breakfast Cook to prepare and present the hotel's complimentary breakfast offerings with quality and consistency. You will maintain clean, organized workstations and ensure food safety standards are followed during an early-morning shift.

Candidates should have strong communication, time management, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Prior experience cooking in large volumes is preferred, and flexibility to meet business

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills
• Must be able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment
• Must be dependable and energetic
• Previous experience cooking in large volume preferred
• This is an early morning shift, however requires flexibility to work based on business demands

Responsibilities

• Prepare the hotel’s complimentary hot breakfast.
• Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies.
• Stock and maintain sufficient food at line stations.
• Own the quality of all served products.
• Keep a clean, sanitary work area at all times.
• Practice safe, hygienic food handling.
• Rotate and store products properly.
• Assist in food prep tasks.
• Close the kitchen per the closing checklist.
• Communicate clearly with managers and staff.
• Assist in various Food & Beverage areas.
• Other duties as assigned by the Sous/Executive Chef
