Job summary

Omaha Embassy Suites - Atrium Hospitality in Omaha, NE is seeking a breakfast cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and plate breakfast items following standardized recipes and help set up the breakfast area each morning.

The ideal candidate has some food service experience, holds basic food safety certifications or is willing to obtain them within 60 days, and can lift up to 50 lbs. This role requires a team-first attitude and availability on mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Culinary or food service experience (6 months preferred).
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willing to obtain within 60 days).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, bend, and move throughout shift.
• A positive, team-first attitude with flexibility to mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items with consistency and care using standardized recipes.
• Support breakfast setup, line prep, and kitchen opening/closing duties.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations.
• Ensure food is prepped for the following day and assist with inventory rotation.
