Job summary

Cascade Inn is seeking a morning-minded Breakfast Cook/Attendant to join our Culinary Department. This is a full-time opportunity with shifts that run Sun–Thu, offering a pay range of $19–$22 per hour depending on experience.

You will prepare and serve breakfast items for the community, set up dining room, and ensure items are well-stocked while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• Food handler's card required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be drug free and submit to a drug screening upon hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare breakfast and Bistro items.
• Prepare dining room for breakfast including setup of supplies and tools.
• Ensure breakfast items are rotated and well-stocked.
• Bus dirty dishes and refill residents’ beverages as needed.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic manner.
• Maintain grooming and presentation standards; keep uniform clean.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Address customer service issues promptly and refer residents to management when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

You enjoy providing outstanding service and producing high quality nutrition. The Breakfast Cook’s role is preparing and serving attractive and tasty meals for the community during morning hours.

What you'll do:

• Assist with special events as needed
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer residents to management when necessary
• Other duties as assigned
