The Original Pancake House in Noblesville, IN is seeking an experienced Breakfast Cook to prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes for guests. You will work in a busy kitchen to ensure quality and consistency.

Candidates should have prior restaurant cook experience and be able to stand for extended periods. ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it. Team-oriented environment with opportunities for advancement.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and clean food prep areas to ensure sanitary practices.
• Ensure freshness by rotating stock and checking quality.
• Maintain correct temperatures in ovens and grills during cooking.
• Season and cook food according to recipes and OPH standards.
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
• Respond to guest feedback with urgency and professionalism.

We are looking for an experienced Breakfast Cook to join our team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy.

With previous experience as a cook, you should be able to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you will have your ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, flattop grills, and star burners
• Season and cook food according to recipes and OPH standards
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
