Job summary

McPherson Hospital Inc. is seeking a Breakfast Cook to prepare, cook, and assist in serving breakfast and lunch for patients, the Café, and Meals-On-Wheels. The role includes catering and dessert prep to meet patient, staff, and visitor needs.

The position supports weekend/holiday meal service and requires teamwork and the ability to work under pressure. Benefits are included; full-time shift is 5:30 am–2:00 pm.

Job Summary

The Breakfast cook prepares, cooks, and assists in cleaning and serving the breakfast and lunch meal for patients, the Café, and for Meals-On-Wheels. Prepares catering and desserts as needed to maintain patient, employee and visitor satisfaction and consumer demands for upcoming days. Other duties as assigned; may be required to prepare meals for patients and Meals-On-Wheels on weekends and/or holidays.

Breakfast Cook Job Requirements

• Executes and maintains a clean workspace to prevent food waste, pest infestations, and practice infection control.
• Assists in organizing and arranging delivered goods to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
• Works well under pressure and can multitask.

Breakfast Cook Qualifications
