Job summary

Shaner Hotels is opening a Hampton Inn by Hilton in downtown Columbia, Pennsylvania, and seeks an energetic breakfast attendant to greet guests, set up and replenish the breakfast bar, and ensure smooth service in the lobby area. You will handle food items, assist in serving, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Prior guest-facing experience is preferred; English communication required, Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area.
• Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, courteously and efficiently in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications.
