Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites is seeking a friendly Breakfast Attendant to greet guests and ensure the breakfast area is welcoming and well stocked. You will deliver attentive service, engage with guests, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Shifts are part-time, 3 days a week (Fri, Sat, Sun) from 5:30am to 11am, with opportunities for advancement and training. Ideal candidates possess a positive attitude, teamwork, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• A professional demeanor, a warm and welcoming personality, and ability to engage easily and actively connect with others.
• Must be genuinely caring, compassionate, and comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine care
• Deliver highly attentive service
• Engage in polite conversation as time allows
• Be fully informed of breakfast options
• Set up the Breakfast area for service
• Stock all self‑service areas with proper equipment and food items
• Always maintain proper standards of sanitation and physical appearance of breakfast area
• Obtain food supplies from Food Storeroom
• Comply with all food safety and quality assurance standards
• Maintain clean safe environment
• Complete prep work as required for next shift, break down the breakfast area, return all unused items to their appropriate places and store food and perishables according to procedures to avoid spoiling and loss
• Clean chairs, tables, and floor
