Highgate Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Attendant for Residence Inn San Jose. The role requires delivering exceptional guest service in the complimentary breakfast area, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting beverage and food service as part of the hotel's operations.

You will interact with guests and teammates to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience. The position requires flexibility for varied schedules including evenings and weekends, and compliance with safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Willing to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and pass TIPs.
• Must obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.
• Able to perform basic math and handle guest interactions calmly.
• Strong guest relations and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Provide Attentive, friendly, courteous service in breakfast area.
• Greet and seat guests, maintain cleanliness of breakfast spaces.
• Assist with beverage and food service, restocking, and side work as needed.
• Communicate with other departments regarding VIP guests and special requests.
• Know menus and daily specials; perform cashiering duties as needed.
