Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient breakfast service and maintain a welcoming dining area. You will work with a hotel team to ensure brand standards are met and guest satisfaction is a priority.

The role requires flexible hours and the ability to manage setup, inventory, and daily cleaning duties in a fast-paced hotel environment. Benefits include room discounts and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Good personality and positive interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Restaurant experience (1 year preferred).
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests.
• Set up and maintain breakfast area per brand standards.
• Take inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
• Assist in ordering or purchasing food supplies.
• Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, hot food, coffee, and juices from concentrates.
• Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products.
• Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
• Wipe up spills.
• Restock items throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day.
• Wash serving equipment and return to storage.
• Return reusable food supplies to storage.
• Keep breakfast area clean including trash removal, counters, and floors.
• Vacuum, mop and dust breakfast area and lobby.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Keep the breakfast counter neat and clean.
• Ensure the breakfast/lounge area looks neat and inviting.
• Wash glassware and utensils after use.
• Maintain a clean working area; lift up to 30 pounds; stand for long periods.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Treat guests and colleagues with kindness and respect.
• Promote a safe working environment.
• Adhere to SOPs and LSOPs.
• Attend meetings and team huddles as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.
