Job summary

The Breakfast Attendant in our Griffin Lounge enhances guest experience by preparing specialty coffee, providing customer service, and promoting merchandise in the gift shop. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while driving sales.

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and some experience in a café or retail environment. The position offers a full-time schedule with various shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of related café or barista experience preferred.
• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information about available food, beverages, merchandise, and hotel amenities.
• Prepare specialty coffee drinks following established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop.
• Restock and refresh merchandise and food displays.
• Open and close the coffee shop on time.
• Process all sales through the Micros system.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
• Secure all cash and deposits according to policies.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The BreakfastAttendant in our Griffin Lounge enhances the guest experience by preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks, offering exceptional customer service, and promoting merchandise in the gift shop. This role plays a key part in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, driving sales, and upholding operational standards.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Greet guests and provide information about available food, beverages, merchandise, and hotel amenities.
• Prepare specialty coffee drinks following established recipes and operate coffee shop equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop, including equipment, displays, and floors, according to SOPs.
• Restock and refresh merchandise and food displays to ensure an inviting presentation.
• Open and close the coffee shop on time, following proper setup and closing procedures.
• Process all sales through the Micros system, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to accounting procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, communicate restocking needs, and assist management with ordering.
• Secure all cash and deposits per hotel and company policies.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Other duties as asssigned.
