Job summary

Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown is hiring a Market Attendant (Barista/Cashier/Order Taker) to deliver exceptional guest service in our coffee shop and gift shop. You will prepare beverages, take orders, process transactions, and help maintain a welcoming, clean environment for hotel guests and local patrons.

You should bring experience in barista or hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, cashier, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide prompt, courteous, and professional service
