Island Hospitality Management in Washington, DC is seeking a Part-Time Breakfast Attendant to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold quality standards during breakfast service. You will prepare and serve made-to-order items in the hotel breakfast area and assist guests with inquiries.

The role requires flexible scheduling, strong teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble the breakfast service before mealtime and disassemble it thereafter
• Ensure the breakfast service space remains well‑stocked at all times
• Clear cutlery and crockery from customers' tables
• Receive beverage orders and direct them to the kitchen, as needed
• Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors
• Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and floors after each meal service
• Ensure a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
