Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Burleson/Ft Worth seeks a friendly Breakfast Attendant to prepare and maintain our complimentary breakfast service. You will stock the buffet, keep the dining area welcoming, and provide attentive guest service during the morning hours.

This role requires early-morning availability, a sense of urgency, and the ability to replenish food and supplies throughout service. Prior food-service or hospitality experience is preferred, and candidates must follow health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in food-service or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Friendly and professional attitude.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food presentation.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Early morning availability; weekend/holiday shifts.
• Food-handler certification may be required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and prepare breakfast area before service.
• Prepare and display breakfast items per brand standards.
• Monitor breakfast buffet and refill food, beverages, utensils, and supplies.
• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food-safety procedures.
• Keep serving counters, tables, chairs, floors, and food-preparation areas clean and sanitized.
• Remove expired or unusable food and rotate inventory.
• Monitor breakfast inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Wash dishes, serving utensils, pans, and breakfast equipment.
• Break down, clean, and restock the breakfast area after service.
• Remove trash and maintain organized storage areas.
• Assist guests with questions or special requests.
• Complete required cleaning and temperature documentation.
• Follow hotel, health-department, and food-handling procedures.
• Complete additional duties assigned by hotel management.
