Role Description

The Breakfast Attendant is a full-time, on-site role located at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Springhill, LA. This role is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and replenishing the breakfast buffet, ensuring food items are fresh, appealing, and compliant with brand standards and food safety guidelines. Daily tasks include preparing simple breakfast items, monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and keeping the breakfast area clean, organized, and inviting. The Breakfast Attendant greets guests warmly, answers questions about menu items, and responds to guest requests or concerns in a timely and professional manner. The role also involves coordinating with the hotel team, following cleaning and sanitation procedures, and completing closing or shift-change tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation and Food Service to safely handle, prepare, and present breakfast items.
• Candidates should possess skills in Food & Beverage operations to follow brand standards and basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with guests and respond to their needs promptly.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to work with team members and provide clear information to guests.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and perform cleaning tasks as required.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or hotel breakfast operations is preferred but not required.
• Availability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
