Holiday Inn Express-Orangeburg is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to help guests start their day with a warm, welcoming breakfast experience. You will set up, stock, and maintain a tidy breakfast area while upholding IHG standards across all service tasks.

The role involves friendly guest service, teamwork, adherence to food-safety rules, and supporting hotel operations during breakfast hours and shifts that may include mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous food-service, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, courteous service during breakfast hours.
• Set up and prepare the breakfast area before service begins.
• Stock and replenish breakfast foods, beverages, utensils, plates, napkins, and other supplies.
• Monitor food levels and ensure items are available and properly presented.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, tables, counters, and serving stations.
• Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure food is stored and handled appropriately.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, equipment, and other food-service areas.
• Collect dishes, cups, utensils, and trash throughout breakfast service.
• Assist guests with questions regarding breakfast items and hotel amenities.
• Monitor the breakfast area and promptly address guest needs or concerns.
• Communicate with the front desk and management regarding guest requests, supply needs, or maintenance issues.
• Complete breakfast preparation, cleaning, and closing duties according to hotel procedures.
• Check inventory and notify management when food, beverages, or supplies need to be reordered.
• Follow Holiday Inn Express and IHG standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations.

Physical Requirements
