Job summary

Hotel Lydia Port Aransas, TX seeks a Breakfast Attendant to ensure prompt, courteous service in the great room during breakfast and dinner shifts. You will help prepare beverages and foods, greet guests, and maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area.

The role requires following health and safety standards, verifying age for alcoholic beverages, stocking supplies, and assisting the General Manager with inventory. A professional uniform and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous breakfast service to guests.
• Assist with breakfast setup and food service operations.

• Carry and clean dishes and supplies; stock beverage/service items.
• Assist the General Manager with maintaining food inventory.
• Observe sanitation standards and health requirements.
• Verify guests' age when serving alcohol.
• Report potential sales contacts to the General Manager.
• Wear proper uniform and name tag at all times.

Position Title : Breakfast AttendantImmediate Supervisor: Assistant General ManagerMajor Function:Responsible for prompt, courteous service to all customers, especially those eating in the great room at all times. Maintenance of the great room area for breakfast and/or dinner shifts.Essential Functions:Provides the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.Greets guests in a prompt and courteous manner.Performs a combination of duties including Breakfast Host & Social Reception Host in an efficient, quiet and effective manner which facilities food service and thereby provides a positive impression for the guest.Carries & Cleans dirty dishes & silverware from breakfast room to Pantry. Supplies service bar with food, coffee, plates, etc. Vacuum’s, cleans tables & chairs on a daily basis. Cleans and polishes shelves of service bar and equipment such as coffee urns, juice machines and milk dispensers.Assist the General Manager with maintaining proper food inventory.Cleans pantry regularly to ensure that all health and sanitation standards are maintained; notifies maintenance engineer of any needed repairs.Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with the appropriate garnish.Asks for age verification of all guests unless it is obvious they are of legal drinking age.
