Job summary

Fairfield Inn is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to ensure timely, high-quality breakfast service in line with brand standards. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation across breakfast and dining areas, manage food and beverage inventories, and perform opening/closing duties to serve guests efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing side work according to standards.
• Stock breakfast and dining area; keep area clean and tidy.
• Take inventory and perform temperature checks (FIFO).
• Attend meetings as required by management.

Description

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for servicing guests according to brand standards; providing the highest quality service to guests and team members, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hours of operation while also maintaining control over food and beverage inventories.

Requirements

Shifts vary from 5AM-12PM, weekends required

• Ensure proper and timely completion of all complimentary food service according to checklist and standard operating procedures.
• Understand and follow brand and other standard steps of service and other guidelines to ensure customers are attended to properly and all food and beverage items comply with quality and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure all food and beverages served meet brand standards and in a safe and sanitary fashion. All foods and beverages must be attractively presented and adequate quantities maintained for guest satisfaction.
• Be certified, and comply with certification requirements as applicable to position to include Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
• Perform opening and closing side work according to standards to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure that the work area and front of house areas are kept clean and tidy. This includes prompt cleanup and stocking in the guest breakfast and dining areas.
• Stocking of orders in correct FIFO procedure, taking inventory and temperature checks.
• Attend meetings as required by management.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
