Job summary

Woodbury Corp. is seeking a part-time breakfast service associate to prepare, present, and clean up the morning service. You will deliver friendly, courteous service to guests and assist with closing duties, inventory, and sanitation to maintain brand standards.

The role requires neat appearance, strong guest relations, and the ability to work weekends or holidays as needed, with adherence to safety and service guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and any food safety certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
• Ability to work weekends and varied schedule including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and clean up the morning breakfast service.
• Deliver prompt, friendly, courteous service to guests.
• Complete closing duties: store reusable goods, break down items, clean equipment and areas, take inventory for next day.
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of dishes and silverware prior to use.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dispose of trash as necessary.
• Respond to guest needs promptly and accurately.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions

Responsible for the preparation, presentation and clean-up of the morning breakfast service. Deliver prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests, while also completing closing duties including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day, & inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of all dishes and silverware prior to use. Must maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day; dispose of trash as necessary, remove and dispose of leftover food at the end of breakfast, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Great customer service skills
• Prior food service experience a plus, along with any food safe certifications
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Must be neat, professional, and well-groomed in uniform
• Must be able to visually inspect area, compare observations to brand standards and correct deficiencies
• Ability to work weekends, and willing to work a varied schedule that may include holidays
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move around during entire 5 hour shift
• Must have the ability to work with guests and respond immediately and accurately to their needs and requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
