Job summary

Woodbury Corporation in Grand Island, NE is seeking a breakfast attendant to prepare, present, and clean up the morning service while delivering prompt, friendly guest service.

You will stock, inspect, and maintain clean work areas, handle inventory for daily needs, and assist with closing duties. A neat appearance, reliable weekends, and basic food/beverage knowledge are required; prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Great customer service skills
• Prior food service experience a plus, along with any food safe certifications
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Must be neat, professional, and well-groomed in uniform
• Must be able to visually inspect area, compare observations to brand standards and correct deficiencies
• Ability to work weekends, and willing to work a varied schedule that may include holidays
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move around during entire 5 hour shift
• Must have the ability to work with guests and respond immediately and accurately to their needs and requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation, presentation and clean-up of the morning breakfast service.
• Deliver prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests, while also completing closing duties including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day, and inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of all dishes and silverware prior to use.
• Must maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day; dispose of trash as necessary, remove and dispose of leftover food at the end of breakfast, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor.
